A batik design on calico fabric pasted on to A3 board (29.7cm x 42cm).
Hot wax is applied to cloth to act as a resist. Once the wax is dry the cloth is submerged in indigo fabric due to reveal the line work. The wax is removed by ironing the fabric between layers of newsprint.
Titled and signed on the reverse by the artist.
